Make HD footage look like it came off an old compressed camera: whites blow out, blacks crush and the detail goes soft and blocky.
After Effects drag and drop presets, including a black and white version. They need the Sapphire plugin, so install Sapphire first.
With Sapphire installed, drag a preset onto your clip in After Effects and press play. It holds up on busy shots too, like concert crowds.

LOW-RES LOOK is the ultimate throwback tool for editors chasing that perfectly imperfect Y2K vibe. These After Effects drag-and-drop presets take your crisp HD footage and tear it down in all the right ways: blocky compression, crushed detail, and a warped, nostalgic grit that screams 2005.
Designed to destroy your footage (in the best way possible), LOW-RES LOOK channels the aesthetic of early internet videos, metro-Frutiger graphics, and glitchy camcorder archives. Perfect for music videos, experimental edits, or anyone who wants their visuals to feel raw, authentic, and unapologetically lo-fi.
Drop it on, hit play, and watch your footage instantly travel back two decades.
Real orders, real editors, unedited.
